About Us
Our Mission
To create unique and accessible musical experiences in the Greater Philadelphia area and build community through the performance and advancement of video game music.
History
Inspired by successful community ensembles like the Washington Metropolitan GSO and the New Jersey GSO, GPGSO began in Summer 2025 as a casual open-door group with biweekly rehearsals in Glenside, PA.
That fall, we solidified our membership, transitioned to weekly rehearsals, and worked towards our first sold-out performance at Or Hadash Synagogue.
In 2026, inspired by our successful first concert, we expanded our membership, performing in bigger venues, and continuing to enhance and refine our sound and performances!
GPGSO is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization.
